My name is Katie, and welcome to my little crochet blog.
I began crocheting my freshman year of high school, and I started out making chemo caps as a part of my graduation project. I fell in love with the craft and though I kept up with it throughout college, I’ve fallen in love with it all over again now that I’ve graduated.
Here you will find my latest creations, some progress updates on long-term projects, a few bits of inspiration and some dashes of memories. My goal is to one day be able to sell some of my projects and learn to write better patterns.
“Why is your blog called Anina June?”
My great-grandmother Nina is my constant inspiration. It was her creations that inspired me to teach myself how to crochet, and it is with her crochet hooks that I make all of my own projects today. What other name could I use to title my blog but hers?
