Hi there!

Hello lovely reader, and welcome!

This blog is sort of a long time coming. I’ve been crocheting since I was a sophomore in high school, and I figured it was about time to start capturing my creations and inspirations as I continue to grow my skills.

I picked up the craft after asking my mom questions about her afghans, which were made by my great-grandmother Nina (the title of this blog is an homage to her). I became inspired by her memories of Grandma Nina sitting all day working on afghans and doilies, her small hands working the yarns and stitching it with love. My mom doesn’t crochet, but she had my great-grandmother’s hooks, which she passed on to me.

So what will you find here? I’ll be posting my latest creations, some progress updates on long-term projects, a few bits of inspiration and some dashes of memories. My goal is to one day be able to sell some of my projects and learn to write better patterns.
